Board of Directors’ Statement

July 31, 2026 — In collaboration with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, Kids’ Chance of South Carolina uncovered evidence of potential financial misconduct by an independent contractor.

We are working very intentionally to review our internal controls and policies. Kids’ Chance of America is supporting us during this process, ensuring continuity and stability.

Our commitment remains unchanged. We will do everything within our power to support our students and ensure that scholarships continue to reach the young people who rely on them.
